“The efforts of the Aqua employees in Sayre before, during, and after the historic flood during the fall of 2011 to ensure that water service in the Valley was not compromised were tremendous. Although several of our residents were displaced by the flood, the majority of the Borough, Sayre School District, and especially the Guthrie Medical Campus continued to operate as normal.
Your employees risked their safety to take the necessary steps to protect the pump stations even though the flood waters continued rise and in the end their efforts were not in vain.
